Hi everyone, I’m having a strange issue whenever I try to add an external link inside a Halo post. The formatting either breaks or the link gets flagged as unsafe. I tried adding a simple reference like a helpful resource
and the editor either strips the formatting or refuses to display it properly.
I’m not sure if Halo has certain restrictions on outbound links, or if it’s something related to markdown compatibility, theme settings, or maybe even a plugin conflict. I checked my settings but nothing looks wrong, so I’m a bit confused about what’s actually causing the link to be blocked or modified.
Before I start changing configs blindly, I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced this. Is there a known workaround or a specific setting that needs to be enabled to allow external links to show correctly?
